


Amlan Hydro Power, Inc. (AHPI)
Amlan Hydro Power, Inc. (AHPI) is an 0.8 MW run-of-river type hydroelectric power plant in Amlan in the Province of Negros Oriental, approximately 35 kilometers north of the provincial capital, Dumaguete City. Commissioned in 1962, it was the first power plant to be constructed in the Province of Negros Oriental. 50% of AHPI is owned by VICS-AMLAN Holdings Corp.
AHPI recently won and was appointed as the administrator of the capacities of the 70MW Bakun Hydro Plant in Luzon. BHP was commissioned in 2000 and is currently the largest run-of-river hydro plant in the Philippines.
