Organized in 2002, Vivant Corporation is a publicly-listed company registered with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE Symbol: VVT) with investments primarily in power generation and distribution services. Vivant is owned and represented by the Garcia-Escaňo family of Cebu. Vivant has three direct subsidiaries, one of which is wholly owned, Vivant Energy Corporation (VEC). The remaining direct subsidiaries, Hijos De F. Escaño, Inc. (HDFE) and the Visayan Electric Company (VECO) are partly held and controlled by Vivant.

Vivant Energy Corporation (VEC) which houses Vivant’s generation assets, along with Hijos De F. Escaño, Inc. (HDFE) and Visayan Electric Company (VECO) which combined, holds the company’s distribution services assets.
